Jeb’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

About the Recipe

*Do not cook without an adult.


  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 bag of milk chocolate chips


Step 1

Whisk all dry ingredients together. Melt butter in microwave and set aside to slightly cool. In separate bowl mix eggs, vanilla extract and butter.

Step 2

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Step 3

Place ion refrigerator and let cool for 30 minutes. Dough will stiffen and be easier to spoon onto baking sheet.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 5

Spoon cooled cookie dough with a tablespoon onto non stick baking sheet leaving enough room for each cookie to spread when cooked.

Step 6

Bake for 13-18 minutes minutes until desired completion. (Less time if you like soft, more time if you like crunchy)

Step 7

Let cookies cool a minute or two before transferring with a spatula to a plate.
